I am currently teaching classes for the Young Entrepreneurs Academy (YEA!) in my hometown of Marysville, OH. The process of discussing marketing with these entrepreneurs as they build and launch their start-ups really gets me into a “building a compelling message ” mode when writing blog posts. Having a good message is critical for success in business because it allows you to to clearly articulate your value proposition. Without this you will tend to ramble, often times missing the mark when it comes to sharing how your business can help solve your prospect’s problem.
